    Why in-browser processing is safe

    Modern browsers can read files and generate new ones for download entirely on their own. This site uses that capability together with an open-source PDF library to work on your file purely in browser memory. Open the network tab of your browser and you can verify for yourself that nothing is transmitted. Close the tab, and the data is gone from memory too.

    It is also fast for the same reason: with no upload and download round trip, most documents are processed in seconds.
