Is it really true that my files are not uploaded?

Yes. Every tool on this site runs as JavaScript inside your browser, using an open-source PDF library. Your file is read into browser memory, processed there, and the result is handed straight back to you as a download. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the network tab, and process a file — no upload request appears.

Is there a file size or page limit?

There is no artificial limit. The practical limit is your device's memory. Documents with hundreds of pages are normally fine on a desktop; very large files on older phones may fail — if so, try a computer.

Why can't I use a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be read without the password — that is the whole point of encryption. Open the file with its password in any viewer and save an unlocked copy (printing to PDF works everywhere), then use the tools on that copy.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Everything works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android. When you tap an upload area, your phone's file picker or photo library opens. Downloads land in your Downloads folder (Files app on iPhone, My Files on Android).

Do you add watermarks? Is anything paid?

No watermarks, no sign-up, no paid tier. The site is supported by ads.

Will my original file be changed?

Never. Every operation creates a new file; your original stays exactly as it was.
